In early 2024, when I was the creative director at Pyper, Inc., we were contracted to produce a campaign for the University of South Florida that would include OOH billboards, digital ads and TV spots. They had just been inducted into the Association of American Universities and we wanted to create an amazing awareness campaign to celebrate their success and highlight their achievements.
The accounts team and I pitched concepts to their communications and marketing team and we worked together on the Be Bold direction, inspired by the university’s President. I polished the look and feel of the campaign, and then recruited a trusted video editor and animator to help bring the storyboards to life. The result is a captivating video cut for :15 and :30 television spots that ran during prime time events like March Madness and the Olympics.
The billboards ran in key locations in the Tampa Bay area, and we supported the USF team with additional digital assets.
