New Branding and Top Label for Wholesale Product

Sugar South is a gentle sugar waxing and natural hair removal product derived from simple ingredients. The owner approached Pyper, Inc. to create new labels for wholesale use to market to limited clientele.

The owner wanted the look to be high end, and loved the look of high contrast, scripted gold lettering on dark backgrounds. I also drew on the lettering of the spa’s front signage, which is neon script, to create the typography for the new logo. The labels feature hand drawn illustrations I created by referencing lemon trees I grow at my home, since the main ingredients are sugar and lemon.
